This may sound a bit boring, or unworthy of purchasing, but sometimes this average specification is actually a good thing where stability and reliability are concerned. Over complication, such as trying to cram in too many features and functions, can cause issues down the line. Don't worry, the term "rather standard" does not mean the specification is terrible by any means. It's actually pretty good considering the price.
The only reason I call it that is down to expectations being so high these days, and with constant advancements taking place, even at the lower price points. So any model that doesn't have a super high spec, or a stand out feature that the rest don't have is considered as standard issue and adequate for the price bracket. As you'll see below, it's fairly well kitted out across the board.

Best features of the V10
First off, I think I should make you aware. If you haven't already heard, fake reviews have become a big issue on the Internet, and sadly, Amazon is just as affected as some of the other big online stores. So now, all reviews, yes even verified purchases, have to be examined very carefully, and taken somewhat with a grain of salt. With that said, the best features that appear to have impressed customers the most with this model are the respectable build quality, clear and colour-rich IPS (In-plane switching) display, responsive touch screen, decent video playback, stability and overall longevity. The Dragon Touch V10 comes well presented in a nice little box and comes complete with mains charger, USB cable and manual. Straight out the box there is minimal bloatware installed.
Things to be aware of
Regardless of the brand or cost, all Tablets have a few not so good points. This one is no exception. With the Dragon Touch V10 we see the grainy 2 mega pixel front and rear cameras that are present in so many Tablets that sit within this price range. And in all honesty, they are not much use for taking a clear picture, and can only just about be used for video calling with Skype. The same can be said for the speakers. They are the usual tinny sounding suspects that are found on many cheap devices. The good news is you can use external speakers, such as a wireless Bluetooth speaker or headphones.
The external storage capacity of the V10 is extremely lacking when compared to some of its competitors. Take for instance the NeoCore range. The new N1 and E1 (read about it here) can hold an additional 512GB (half a terabyte). Furthermore, the latest N1F, which is cheaper than the E1, can hold up to 256GB of extra storage space. Many of the Fusion5 models are not far behind the NeoCore's in this department either. So, when compared to those types of Gigabyte numbers it makes this model look pretty poor in comparison when buyers want as much card storage space as possible.
The WiFi is not dual band, and only operates at 2.4GHz. However, this isn't the end of the world by any means, and most people won't need it or notice any difference. There's also a few reports of unresponsive apps, and some feedback of it being slow and sluggish at times. It also takes a good few hours to reach a full charge (6-8 hours as stated by the seller) if the battery is totally empty.
However, this is quite common with many Tablets. Fortunately, like most, the V10 can still be used while charging. Although this will obviously make the charging time even longer if aiming for a full charge. The V10 does seem a little outdated for 2020, especially when considering what else is out there for around the same price.
