Huion Kamvas Pro 24 Review Overview

Huion Kamvas Pro 24 Quick Review Overview. A bigger work area, higher resolution and 20 programmable shortcut keys (left and right-hand friendly) are just a few of the improvements seen in the brand new Huion Kamvas Pro 24. The 24 represents the screen size. Although the QHD screen work area is slightly smaller than twenty-four inches, measuring in at 23.8 inches. The display offers up an impressive 2.5K resolution, which as well as offering super clarity and colours, will no doubt increase work efficiency and creativity. With 120% sRGB, 16.7 million colour display and an almost 180 degree viewing angles (it's actually just under at 178), the gamut is very impressive. The pen has 5080 LPI resolution.

The screen is kitted out with anti-glare technology, offers a paper-like drawing experience, and has been laminated to ensure longevity. Connection wise, the Huion Kamvas Pro 24 has the ability to hook up to a VGA, HDMI and a DisplayPort (DP). As you may know, the pen is such an important tool for digital artists, so its vital that it is comfortable and easy to use. Huions pens have always been good, and this one appear to follow that trend nicely. The lightweight pen (PW507) requires no battery, so no dying battery to worry about when in the middle of concentrating on an important sketch or design drawing. It has 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity, ±60 degrees tilt, and has a 266 PPS report rate.

As important as the pen is, and it is very important when its comes to an artist being able to produce their best work, the stand / angle options are equally just as important. The stand with the Pro 24 (ST100) is hassle-free, easy to adjust and offers a respectable amount of angle adjustments. So many digital artists actually make their own stand, usually in the form of using something they have at hand, such as a pillow, books or table-top positioned at the right angle for them to feel most comfortable. All these options are available here, as the ST100 stand can be removed or laid flat if you prefer.

Compatibility: According to Huion, the Pro 24 works with Windows based systems from Windows 7 and later, and Mac operating system 10.12 Sierra and later (newer OS versions).

What does the  Kamvas Pro 24 come with. What's in the box. You get the Pro 24, the Pen, ten Pen nibs, USB cable, Nib Clip, Pen holder, AC cable (Armor-clad), HDMI cable, Power supply adapter, cleaning cloth, glove and quick start guide.

The Huion Kamvas Pro 24 is not cheap but does offer a hell of a lot for the money. The specification is excellent. For creators looking to take their digital art to the next level, the Pro 24 can certainly help them do just that. The release date /shipping date is around the 18th of June 2020. However, it is available to pre-order now from the official Huion website. You can find it for sale here. Huion deliver to many countries, including the USA, UK, Japan, Europe and Australia.

One downfall. The warranty offered by Huion with the Pro 24 is charged as an extra cost. Six months is $80 and 12 months is $150. But to end on a positive note, Huion do give a 1-year limited warranty on all their products, and the Pro 24 is included in that.

Higher res than 1080p. A Wacom beater? Looks good initially. Not cheap though. I own the Kamvas pro 16. Not looking to upgrade, very happy with it.
