Read the interesting feedback that people who own this model are leaving on Amazon
The Zaith has its own, dedicated external keyboard that can be bought as a bundle combined with this tablet. Of course, The Zaith 10.1 Inch does cost more with the extras included, so it depends on what you will be using the tablet for. Are you someone that absolutely needs the keyboard for work related tasks, or do you have the extra money to splash out to ensure you have maximum convenience. It's completely down to personal preference and an individuals usage criteria.
The big majority of 2-in-1's that the Zaith competes with, such as the Linx range, are Windows based. They most come pre-installed with Windows 10 home to be precise. While Windows OS does have the advantage of being more "work task friendly" this can become a notoriously slow and sluggish operating system if running it with only 1GB RAM. And in terms of work friendly, these days Android can be just as good. If you're hesitant to buy an Android based 2-in-1 because you are someone who uses Microsoft Office, you'll be pleased to know, if you didn't already, that it is available for Android also. Just download whichever MS Office applications you need from Google Play.
One Gigabyte of RAM is basically the bare minimum required to run an up-to-date Windows Operating system. This is also the case really with Android based devices as well. But with Android, it has better potential of running much smoother out-the-box when minimal bloatware is installed. And as long as you don't go overboard with installing everything you come across, hopefully it should stay sharp. If this model came with 2GB it would be a much better machine.
Comparing review scores with other tablets, and 2-in-1's, the Zaith comes out near the top. However, when compared to some of the devices which have been reviewed hundreds of times, the Zaith 10.1", with under 100 reviews, could be considered as an unfair comparison. But, with around 80 reviews so far on Amazon UK, and with most of them being positive, this looks to be a really good performing, reliable 2-in-1 hybrid. That's more than enough reviews to get a feel for the overall quality and performance of the device. For the price, the build quality is noted by customers as being really good.
Let's take a look at some of the Zaith 10.1 Inch' (Z21116G) key features
Some of the stand out features this device has include, Android 7.0 Nougat Operating System, impressive build quality, decent quality 1280 x 800 IPS display (plastic screen), good quality keyboard (bundle version) Dual band WiFi, GPS, FM radio and a Full-Sized USB port. The Zaith comes with 16GB of internal storage built in, and as mentioned further above, 1GB RAM (DDR3).
Of course, there is much more to this device. But the "much more" is mostly all the standard features that people have come to expect from a tablet hybrid that's fairly new on the scene and running an up-to-date Operating System. Things like Bluetooth, headphone jack, Micro SD card slot (additional 128GB Max), Micro USB Port, built in microphone, built in speakers, dual cameras, Mini HDMI, DC connection and comes with a one year UK warranty.
Standard Issue
The Zaith comes with the standard tinny speakers we see on many of the cheap devices. And the usual basic, grainy quality dual cameras too. The battery life is also borderline average. The under 6000mAh (5800mAh) battery isn't the best if compared to some of the competing models, with users reporting around 4 - 6 hours with mixed usage. This duration is expanded considerably with light usage.Graphics
The ARM Mali GPU (Graphics Processor), pretty sure its the ARM Mali-T720 MP2, does make it a decent device for playing low-resource using games. But with this device coming with only 1GB RAM, it does limit considerably, and it would struggle with more resource-demanding gaming adventures. For HD video playback though, it is definitely up to the task.Processor
MediaTek MT8163 (V/B?) (A53) 64-bit Quad Core Processor @ 1.3 GHz. Zaith, or should I say OmnyJ, don't specifically state whether this processor is the V/A version or not. I presume from their description, where they state that the Processor can reach a maximum of 1.5 GHz, that it is the V/A version. If it is, then this is a good feature, because it is the better, more capable version of the MediaTek MT8163 Processor.Although, even being the V/A model, it's still just a decent Processor, nothing mind-blowing, but adequate enough. It fits the price point well though, and is seen quite frequently in cheaper tablets. One quick example of a tablet containing the same processor, which has already been reviewed on this website, is the Alba (503248) 8 Inch. I believe this model has the MediaTek MT8163 V/B though.

I bought the Zaith 2 in one and it has been good so far. Battery life could be better and sometimes it can be slow. Happy with it though. Good for office work and internet is OK. Has lasted longer then my linx 12v64 did already. That was junk. haha
I think i need the digitizer glass for my Zaith (z21116g?). anyone know where it can be purchased from? thanks.
Someone wanted to know: Who makes zaith tablets?
