Huawei's 10 Lite: Best Tablet For £200?

Is the Huawei MediPad M3 10 Lite the best Tablet for around £200? On this occasion I'm talking  200GBP (UK) not $200 Dollars. Due to everyone's experience with products being different, and with so many factors to consider, like what the person uses the device for, how rough they are with it, quality control from the tablet brand, etc, Is there even a definitive answer..I don't think there is. It remains a highly contested subject. One person might have a certain model and it may last them 10 years with no problems what so ever, then another person might buy the same model and have nothing but issues with it as quickly as in the first few months of ownership. Sometimes even much sooner than that. However, with this taken into consideration, there are some common consistencies amongst the reviews on certain makes and models that certainly indicate the positive signs of a great product. Some of those being stability and reliability.
Best Tablet for around £200
One such device, which happens to be my pick for being one of the best Tablets for around £200, is the Huawei MediPad M3 10 Lite. It has an excellent track record for being reliable, very stable, and also has a very impressive specification. It's not only popular in the UK, but also in USA, Canada and Europe. The 10 Lite has everything required to be one of the best in its price bracket. The Operating System installed on the M3 10 Lite is Android 7.0 + EMUI 5.1 (Huawei's launcher software).

So, other than being reliable and stable, what does it have that makes it such a good choice? Well, other than superb build quality, the main features, or the ones that stand out more than the rest, are the impressive combination of a great 8 Core Processor (a Qualcomm Octa-Core MSM8940), 3GB RAM, a light sensitive, eye friendly 10.1 Inch 1920 x 1200 IPS Screen, super long battery life, and one of the best speaker systems you will find on any competing tablet at the same price, and in many cases beyond.

If you're someone who likes to mix it up a bit in terms of multi-tasking (who doesn't do that these days), like having multiple gaming Apps running, ten browser tabs open, a movie playing that you're not really watching, and even doing some light work in MS Office, you will be impressed with how the Huawei MediPad M3 10 Lite is able to cope with all these varied demands while still remaining stable and responsive. And being an avid multi tasker, you will no doubt appreciate the split screen options this device offers.

Thanks to the Qualcomm Octa-Core Processor and 3GB RAM, It has impressive multi tasking abilities. And that is really this is what most people generally look for. A good, stable device that just works well and gives the user no hassle. It also comes with 32GB of internal storage space, which can be expanded via the SD slot to hold an additional 128GB. Android 7.0 also gives the user the option to be able to install and run programs from the SD card. So no more worrying about the built-in storage space becoming too full and not being able to install more software. Now you can do that from the SD card.

The Dual cameras are both 8 mega pixels each, but while not being as sharp as some of the top-end Smartphones, they do provide a good level of quality. Battery life is also at the top-end, offering a standby time that is not just hours, but actually goes into days. Video playback is reported at being around 8 - 10 hours, so that's potentially a lot of films watched or YouTubing for many hours before a charge is needed. As mentioned above, the speakers in the Huawei MediPad M3 10 Lite are great. This model has 4, yes four Harmon / Kardon built-in speakers that produce an amazing level of cinematic style audio quality. Fair enough, it's not like being at the Cinema, but for it's size, the sound quality is substantial and much more enhanced than what you get on so many tablets hovering around the same price.

It also has all the usual features like WiFi, Bluetooth, Dual SD Slot, headphone connection, micro USB port, and a clever fingerprint scanner for extra security. This model also has dual SIM card slots, but they don't work (with 4G) in the UK due Network compatibility issues. So if you want 4G mobile data functionality it is probably best to go with something else, like the Mediapad T3 8 Inch.

If it weren't for the problems with the product descriptions being mixed up and stating 4G compatibility in the UK + USA, the Huawei MediPad M3 10 Lite would have an even better review score than it does already. It's great as it stands, but it does seem a little unfair to have a few more negatives than it really deserves just because the item descriptions were wrong.

That's not the fault of the tablet itself, so take these reviews with a grain of salt. Other than this glitch there is very little in the way of serious problems reported about this model. A few reports of poor WiFi strength and the battery not lasting as long as stated by Huawei. But how long the battery lasts is very dependant on how demanding each user is. And the WiFi issues are completely overruled by the many of reviewers who have been impressed with the WiFi's power. So perhaps a few dodgy products slipped past Huawei's stringent quality control procedures. No brand or product is immune from a few issues. Just take a look at some of the reviews for the super popular Apple iPad's and Samsung Tab A's and S2's that are around the same price as the M3 10 Lite for confirmation of this.

Make no mistake about it, the Huawei MediPad M3 10 Lite, with its streamlined but solid build quality, highly capable Octa-Core Processor, beautiful display, great multi-tasking stability, extended battery life, amazing Harmon Kardon quad speakers, and a solid reliability record from customers, makes it one of the best tablets for around £200. Oh, I almost forgot to mention, it also comes with a 2 year warranty for added peace of mind. Best value for money. Buy one. https://solarpixels.blogspot.com/
