Quick Cheap Tablet List UK 2019

Quick Cheap Tablet List UK 2019. This blog usually writes tablet reviews one at a time. So one post, one tablet. But today I wanted to put together a quick list of cheap but super quality tablets that offer exceptional value for money and a great user experience. When it comes to Tablet PCs, It's a minefield out there, with many potential disaster purchases just a few clicks away. So take advantage of this list which features some of best the marketplace has to offer. While they always help, no Black Friday or Cyber Monday Deals are needed here.

Lenovo Tab 3 10.1" IPS Snapdragon

Lenovo-IBM-Tab-3-UK
Close to all the Lenovo Tabs are very versatile and bargain priced. The Tab 3 is no exception. Solid build quality, nice IPS screen, pretty good internal speakers, adequate Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8009 Quad Core Processor and 2GB RAM put the Tab 3 up there as one of the best tablets on this list. Although its not the cheapest, the extra few pounds spent do make a difference where quality, speed and refinement are concerned.

The Tab 3 is great for most activities, including downloading / installing Apps, YouTubing, Netflix, reasonable gaming (resource intensive may struggle), online streaming, email, online shopping / browsing the net and also completing work stuff while at home or on the move.

Lenovo Tab 3 main features: Fresh out the box Android 6.0, 1280 x 800 IPS display, Snapdragon APQ8009 Processor, 2 Gigabytes of RAM, 16GB HDD, Dual Dolby speakers, twin cameras (2MP facing + 5 mega pixels rear) WiFi, Bluetooth 4, Micro USB port, Micro SD memory slot (can hold no more than 64GB), longish battery life, 3.5mm earphone connection, "Smart" device friendly, and also has a 1 year warranty thrown in with the deal. The Lenovo Tab 4 10 is also well worth a look.

Huawei MediaPad T3 8 Inch Android 7.0 *Best Choice*

MediaPad T3
The complete "T" series from Huawei is excellent. From the 7" to the 10", there's one for most people no matter what they want to use it for. There's no shortage of reviews for all the models, including the excellent T3 7″ and M3 10 Lite. No doubt about it, the complete T and M series are brilliant machines. But in terms of bang for your buck, or pound, the T series are definitely the more attractive models when it comes to lower pricing. But just because the price it lower, don't think they are not capable. The T series are right at the front of the queue when it comes to comparing them to their competition.

The MediaPad T3 8" is rightfully included. The finish is excellent for the price, clean and streamlined. And while most tablets near the same price are made from plastic, the T3 8" is metal. Yes, the metal is a thin, lightweight aluminium, but it needs to be in order to keep the weight of the device down.

The Core spec is definitely good enough for most people to be left feeling like they got a great bargain. HD 8" 1200 x 800 IPS (In-Plane Switching) Display, Android Nougat OS, Qualcomm MSM8917 Quad Core (1.4 GHz per core) Processor, 2 Gigabytes of RAM, 16GB HDD, SD card slot (holds up to a 128GB external SD memory card), Two Cameras, strong WiFi, Bluetooth 4, Micro USB connection, internal speaker, internal microphone, good battery duration, MS Office, plus a two year Huawei warranty. Other features include kids mode, split half screen, blue light damage prevention, and an eye friendly mode for low light / dark rooms.

Fusion5 UK 104B Version 2

Good UK Brand Fusion5The Fusion5 10.1" F104Bv2 (Version 2) is, I believe, one of the latest models from Fusion5. It possesses a crisp IPS (In Plane Switching) 1280 x 800 screen, MT 8167 (MediaTek) Quad Core Processor, Android 8.1 Oreo OS platform, 1GB RAM, 16GB or 32GB built-in storage, average front and back facing cameras, WiFi, Bluetooth 4, HDMI port, SD card option, 3.5mm earphone port, A-GPS, extended battery duration, micro USB port and a 12 month UK warranty.

This is a good tablet for a wide range of different uses, like surfing the net, emails, social media, streaming content, watching movies, simple gaming and even office / work orientated activities. Some of which may be easier with an add-on keyboard attached, but that will have to be bought separately.

In all honesty, the 104Bv2 is quite basic with its specification. This level of spec is frequent between many makes and models. But in some ways this can be a good thing when it comes to owning a tablet with a good, well-working combination of compatible hardware and software. Higher spec in an already cheaply priced tablet can sometimes lead to a negative relationship between both hardware and software. This combination works.

The Ever Competitive Neocore E1 Model

Neocore British

The E1 has already been talked about on this blog. It was wrote about in a comparison sense compared to another mode. That blog post can be found here. Time after time, the E1 has proven itself to be one of the best all rounders.

That's even the case when compared to the models talked about in this blog post. If compared, it's clear to see that in some areas it still trumps them. For instance: The devices listed on this page, which are all a similar amount of money to buy can, at most, hold up to 128GB of extra memory (space). The 2018 generation E1 is able to hold up to 256GB.

The Android OS will update itself. The touchable part of the display screen is finished with real glass. As an extra bonus it also comes with an extended warranty length (2 years). This is generally twice the duration given with basically all the models on this page regardless of brand name (with the exception of Huawei). Those are some reasons why the E1 is an excellent deal. Anyone will be hard pressed to discover another model for the same price or lower that has these features.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 Inch (WiFi only)

Galaxy Tablet OctaCore Samsung

More than likely the quickest, best built tablet featured here. Those who own a Samsung Smartphone will be right at home with the Tab A. However, to use this device like a mobile phone the buyer would have to purchase the more costly 4G / LTE model, This post features the WiFi only tablet for the interest of saving some money. If you don't need 4G capability, the WiFi model can do almost everything else. A truly superb Tab for the money.

Superbly sharp display, including good resolution @ 1920 x 1200, decent Octa (8) Core 1.6 GHz Processor, long battery duration, twin cameras (2 mega pixels + 8 mega pixels), WiFi, Bluetooth 4, 2GB RAM, 32GB HDD, Android 6.0 Operating System, GPS, Micro SD card (able to handle 200GB), Micro USB connection (dependant on model year - newer models will have a USB C connector), Child mode and a 12 month warranty.

Fusion5 F704B Oreo 7 Inch

Cheap Fusion5 England

A mini seven inch, so should be cheaper than the others. And it is! Suitable for those who want a travel-sized device that still has the power and reliability to make an excellent user companion. This model also makes a lot of sense to buy as either a second machine, or a great little starter device for a child. Although I generally advise against letting children use tablets / Smartphones unsupervised at a very young age. But that's a choice for their parents to make.
